Beyond the standard collection, CIVITAS develops unique pieces in collaboration with clients and architects. Every table is created exactly to your wishes. To craft the perfect story, we can adjust dimensions, colour, texture or design an entirely new shape that elevates your space to an enviable level.

The Process
Idea
Every story begins with an idea, and we turn that idea into reality.
Consultation
CIVITAS works directly with the client or architect, reviewing concept sketches, spaces, existing architecture, technical constraints, and more, to arrive at the ideal solution.
Sketch
Dimensions are determined before colour, texture, and finish. Mass and balance determine the form, and every detail has its purpose. Together, we create the design piece missing to complete the ideal space.
Production
Cast, sanded, and hand-finished in the workshop. Every piece goes through a careful making process in which material, texture, and finish create the table's unique character.
The chosen tone can be part of CIVITAS's existing range or developed specifically for a particular space. When something emerges that goes beyond the existing selection, the new tone gets a name of its own.
Delivery
Every piece ships with its care instructions, and passes a final hand inspection before delivery.
Who Custom Work Is For
Agreed dimensions alongside the standard collection
If the space calls for different dimensions that fit better indoors or outdoors, we can make that happen too, through conversation with the client or architect.
The standard production time is 4–6 weeks. Custom work may require additional time, depending on the piece's complexity, chosen materials, and execution details. The timeline is always agreed before production begins.
